Verdict
Rich Pickins has been crying out for a trip like this and in an ordinary handicap he is TEAMtalk's idea of the winner. A running on third over a mile here first time out, he stayed on well to improve a place at Wolverhampton next time. Tried over seven furlongs last time out back here he struggled and now given the chance over 10 furlongs for the first time, it can pay dividends to be on. Saxe Coburg has plenty of dirt experience in Dubai, though none to date in this country. Nevertheless, he has to merit respect though he is tried over this trip for the first time and so stamina has to be taken on trust. Compton Aviator is the other top weight. He has a seven furlong course win to his name from a couple of years ago, and has dropped back to a very handy mark here, from which - with luck in running - he is capable of winning, though again there are stamina doubts concerning potential supporters. Alfano is another who might not genuinely see out the trip, though he is on a winning mark again here, and could go well.
