Verdict

DREAMWEAVER has won twice at this level over 1m2f this season, both times coming from off the pace, and too much use was made of him in a Class 3 at Sandown last time. He gets the vote as Oliver Hardy is 11lb higher than when completing a Brighton double in June though he did run well when tackling 1m5f on the Turf track here last time. Dame Freya Stark reappeared after a long break to make all for a convincing victory over 1m2f at Yarmouth and there's plenty more in the tank while Edmond Dantes won a Goodwood handicap in June though that was on soft ground.
