In depth
Verdict
This is a very competitive classified event and we will take a chance on Asbo, with Nearly A Fool and Adantino just two of many dangers. John Scargill's four-year-old has been knocking on the door all season and put up another solid display at Wolverhampton last time, chasing home Prince Of Gold. The form has taken a couple of knocks since, but this is only a weak event and Asbo could be up to the task. Nearly A Fool landed a similar event over course and distance last time, easily getting the better of Roman Quintet, but strictly on official ratings may have trouble giving a stone to the selection. Adantino has shown plenty of form in better company on the turf and should make his presence felt. Captain Darling and Mac's Talisman are too others to note, but Asbo is well treated here and is given a slender vote.
