Verdict

Marhoon is the obvious form choice here, and can beat the newcomers Chocolate Caramel and Maria Delfina. Ed Vaughn's colt has put in two solid displays so far, a fourth at Windsor on his debut, and a second to Maxamillion last time at Brighton. The experience will stand him in good stead here and he looks the one to be on. Chocolate Caramel has a very interesting pedigree, his is by top sire Storm Creek, out of a brilliant Brazilian mare, any market move for this one should be noted. The same applies to the John Gosden newcomer Maria Delfina, a superbly bred daughter of Giants Causeway. Of the others Busaco has shown promise in two outings to date, but there is a solid look about Marhoon's form and he gets the verdict.
