Verdict

Stately Home will be one to note in handicaps at Dundalk when dropping to a more suitable mark. Equus Deus was always up with the pace when placed at Navan while Indulging was only beaten a length when fourth of five on the latter track back in May. Mickey The Steel has been a beaten favourite the last twice but found 5f too short last time though this can go to MUTASARREF (NAP). Dermot Weld's charge looked a certain winner over a mile at Leopardstown when leading over 1f out and going clear but was reeled in by River Derwent close home with the winner finishing second in a better race at Galway next time.
