In depth

Verdict

Absolut Power has to be the pick at the weights here and can beat New Currency and Little Rort. Jonathan Geake's four-year-old has just had three outings and is now qualified to run in handicaps. He's chased home some decent performers including Redi and Mr Dinglawi and with improvement expected he will be hard to beat today. New Currency returns from a a four month break after disappointing here in January. His earlier form is quite decent and if refreshed from his holiday should be in the shake up. Meanwhile Little Rort stayed on gamely to beat Dash For Cover at Towcester last time and must also enter calculations. Salinas has run with credit on numerous occasions and looks the pick of the remainder, but our idea of the winner is the progressive Absolut Power.
