In depth

Verdict

Cantgeton could be yet another winner for champion trainer Martin Pipe, with Corton and Amicelli also set to run well. The selection ended last season with a game victory over Stern at Worcester. That was an improved performance and he looks to be going the right way. Corton is trained by Jonjo O'Neill who looks to be about to hit top form. This six-year-old has shown promise in two outings to date and could go close at a decent price. Amicelli is lightly raced for a six-year-old and having gone off a warm favourite on his only run last season obviously has shown plenty at home. Watch for any move on him today. Reasonably Sure looks the pick of the others, but Cantgeton is in top form at present and gets our vote.
