In depth

Verdict

TELLAIRSUE is the only one to arrive in really good form after showing plenty of improvement to land a Fontwell novice handicap last month when significantly upped in trip. He was clearly 'expected' that day as he went off at 100/30, having previously been sent of at prices ranging from 25/1 to 150/1 on his previous five starts. He's only been raised 3lb and could well be ahead of the handicapper on that winning evidence. Zafar has to give weight away all round but should benefit from this drop in grade and is worth shortlisting along with Fine By Her, one of the more consistent members of the field who should be competitive again off a mark of 90. Whenitrainsitpours has only had the five starts and could improve after showing some promise. Harry Cobden is booked.
