Verdict

Manimole was a fair two-and-a-half length third at Stratford last month and has generally performed fairly well over shorter trips than this. She should be in the mix if handling a first taste of forecast good ground. Ambush Annie displayed ability on both starts in the pointing sphere, notably when going down in a photo at Lisronagh in November, and the booking of Harry Cobden suggests a decent account is anticipated. Oneway Express is another pointing recruit for connections who enjoyed a cracking time last season and Pollyonesock showed improvement last time. The choice, though, is OOH BETTY (NAP), for whom Ben Clarke has booked the champion jockey and who has every chance if repeating her most recent form when beaten a neck in a competitive 18-runner handicap at Exeter.
