    Verdict

THE KID benefited from a summer break, winning at Worcester on his reappearance when beating Frozen Over and he finished ahead of Excellent Team at the same track next time. Blinkers replace the usual visor and he’s still at the right end of the handicap. Mighty Whitey isn’t getting any younger but has made several successful raids across the Irish Sea. Status Quo could figure if fully wound-up but Quebec, Dove Mountain and recent Worcester winner Tunnel Creek all step up a grade. Silver Quay is unexposed over timber but has his fair share of weight.
