In depth
Verdict
Saintsaire was highly tried last time and should be capable of winning back in this type of company, Saafend Rocket and Dad's Elect look the obvious dangers. Nicky Henderson's six-year-old was pulled up at Aintree in the Grade one novices chase won by Ashley Brook. He was only 11/1 for that competitive event following a facile victory at Bangor. Today's opposition are quite a come down and he should gain a second success over fences. Saafend Rocket landed a weak event over course and distance last time, beating Forest Chief by a distance after his main rival fell at the last. He looks to be the main threat to the selection and could be set for some place money. Dad's Elect put in an improved performance to finish runner up to Major Euro at Market Rasen last time, with a repeat effort he should be involved in the finish. Dabus is not the best of jumpers but has the form to merit respect, but Saintsaire looks the class act here and is given a confident vote.
