In depth
Verdict
Ma Yahab goes from strength to strength and can land the hat-trick at the expense of L'Eau Du Nil and Mr Lewin. The Venetia Williams trained eleven-year-old took a while to get the hang of this game but has come good with victories here and at Fakenham. He has beaten some decent enough types and against what appear to be lesser opponents he should make it three wins in a row. L'Eau Du Nil showed promise in France before running well for his new yard at Stratford last time. It was a decent enough contest and he should be capable of plenty of improvement and looks the main threat to the selection. Mr Lewin hasn't been beaten far in two decent enough contests and should prove best of the remainder, but Ma Yahab has been well placed to land the double, and should be able to make it a treble.
