In depth
Verdict
Although he doesn't win too often, three miles and fast ground suits Cassia Heights and he gets the vote in an open affair, with Caislean Na Deirge a danger and Lost In Normandy another potential contender. Cassia Heights has course and distance winning form to his name and has won off plenty higher marks than this before. Although he's not as good as he was he is still competitive from this mark and as a decent jumper he looks capable of scoring. Caislean Na Deirge is a maiden over both forms of jump racing, though he has often run well without winning. His problem tends to be that he makes mistakes and he will have to improve in that department. Peveril Pride would have a decent chance is he could return to his form of 12 months ago, but he has failed to complete on his last four starts and now has plenty to prove. Of the others, Lost In Normandy will appreciate a 2lb drop after flopping last time but has conditions and trip to suit and may return to form, but Cassia Heights looks solid enough and can sneak home here.
