Verdict
Woodenbridge Dream is given another chance in the finale, while Bramblehill Duke and Clear Dawn have sound claims on the best of their form. Another to bear in mind if Lord Of The Land, who despite the age of twelve, has a great attitude towards racing and he is likely to be a popular selection amongst each-way thieves. Clear Dawn is on a fair mark at present and should again give a good account of himself while he has conditions to suit. However, he is hard to win with and needs everything to fall into place for him. Bramblehill Duke is no respecter of his fences and would have won plenty more races but for his tendency to take a few up by the roots on the way round. He has also refuse to race on four separate occasions, which is obviously off-putting. It will be prudent to delay a play with him until it looks certain that he is in a racing mood. By way of contrast Woodenbridge Dream likes to get on with things as soon as the tapes go up and he gets the vote today. A more patient ride from Richard Johnson will help the gelding get home today and he looks the safest option available.
