Verdict
A small field goes to post for this novice hurdle and it looks to be another straight forward opportunity for Emporer Ross. The gelding from the Nicky Richards yard won well last time out when defeating Allstar Leader at Perth and despite his penalty he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Cherry Gold rates the main danger he was a fair point to pointer at his best and he was a fair third behind Ollie Magern last time. However he looked very one paced on that occasion and he may do better with more cut in ground,. Red Return is one of the least exposed in the field and has plenty of scope for improvement and he is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market. The remainder need to improve significantly on their latest efforts to trouble the judge.
