Verdict
With the Jonjo O'Neill yard still in the recovery stage we will side-step impressive winner Olaso and give the vote to Jair Ohmsford, with Longterm the best of the remainder. Willie Musson's six-year-old has come up against the smart Dusky Warbler on two occasions this season and was clear second best. However he did manage to land a victory in between those defeats when easily beating Miko De Beauchere at Folkestone. He will love this ground and looks the one to beat. Olaso will be a major threat to the selection if anywhere near his best. He beat some decent types very easily at Newbury in December and looked the type to progress. The betting market may be a good guide to his fitness. Jonjo also runs Kingscourt Lad and Longterm. The pick of these should be former bumper winner Longterm. So a lot depends on wether Jonjo has got his horses back to peak fitness, and so with that doubt, we have to side with Jair Ohmsford
