Verdict
Recent winners Fishki's Lad, Hoh Nelson and Trison's Star look the three to consider here and we will side with the last named. Lucy Normile's gelding hit winning form at Ayr in January, beating Tynedale in a tight finish. He has always looked the staying type and should improve for this extra distance. Fishkis Lad took a modest contest here last time, beating Comcille by a comfortable seven lengths. There could be more to come and he rates a big threat here. Hoh Nelson is trained by Charlie Mann and put in a much improved performance when beating Azzemoor over a similar trip at Fakenham. He is not the best of jumpers but if he can keep from making too many mistakes he should be in the shake up. If fit Nurzyk can also be given a squeak here, but Trison's Lad has recent winning form and could be up to landing this modest event
