Verdict
It is interesting that Torrid Kentavr is back over fences, but Chef Tartare appears to have the more solid claims and is taken to beat Game On and Polar Gunner. Following some very promising efforts against decent opposition, the selection beat previous winner Figaro Du Rocher in convincing style at Chepstow last month . The handicapper has been very reasonable and a follow up looks on the cards.Torrid Kentavr won a modest handicap chase last May and has been taking on decent hurdlers recently, however he me be a little bit high in the weights at present and so is passed over. A bigger danger may be Game On who impressed when beating Arctic Spirit over course and distance in early February. Meanwhile Polar Gunner must also be considered a live threat after easily beating some modest rivals at Bangor last time. So a fascinating puzzle and Chef Tartare could be the answer.
