Verdict
At the time of writing Victom's Chance is set to run at Newbury so it would be a big surprise if he turns out her, and so we will give our vote to Bar Gayne, with County Classic and Bengo set to provide most danger. Tom George's gelding landed a bumper at Uttoxeter in January, despite running very green, He didn't appear to beat much but is expected to improve and can make a winning debut over hurdles. Bengo ran well behind Rebel Rhythm in a better race than this at Haydock in December and looks certain to be in the shake up here. County Classic has flattered to deceive on many occasions but obviously has some ability and is another that should be in the firing line. Of the remainder Classic Sight can be given a squeak on his best form, but so long as Victom's Chance doesn't take part, Bar Gayne is our idea of the winner
