      Verdict

      A wide open handicap here with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Ei Ei, Thumper, Italian Counsel and Taipo Prince and the tentative vote goes to Ei Ei. The selection goes particularly well at this his local track has conditions to suit and a reproduction of his latest third behind Bucks would make him hard to beat. Thumper rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Light Des Mottes, however he will find this harder under his penalty and for that reason he is opposed. Italian Counsel is another that could go well he is well weighted on his best form and has conditions to suit but he was very disappointing last season and for that reason he is opposed. Of there remainder Taipo Prince and St Matthew are from yards in form and are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to the ultra consistent Ei Ei.
