Verdict
A wide open handicap chase here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Pornic, Cardinal Mark, Strongtrooper and Monty's Quest and the tentative vote goes to Cardinal Mark.Pornic in a chase a couple of runs The selection defeated Pornic in a chase a couple of runs ago and off what looks a lenient mark here with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Pornic rates the main danger he is another that will like the ground but a strict reading of the form leaves him with a little to find with the selection and for that reason he is opposed. Strongtrooper is another that could go well he was a fair fourth behind Montreal last time and that form looks rock solid in the context of this race but he may just be in the handicappers grip and he is passed over on this occasion. Monty's Quest was a fair second behind Wildfield Rufo last time but that form has since been let down and he will need to improve to win off a mark this high. Of the remainder Dragon King has dropped to a handy mark and has conditions to suit so he is worth a cautionary look in there market but for the winner we return to Cardinal Mark.
