Verdict

Just the five runners turn up for another good class handicap chase where DESCRIPTION has hardly put a hoof wrong for his current yard and he has really solid claims on this and should have the eating of the over-priced Pelo De Bief and consistent Aqualung. After joining Sue Smith half-way through last season the selection hasn¿t looked back winning four times including a comfortable success at Carlisle last time. We suspect that he had more to offer that day so should overcome a seven pounds mark rise. Pelo De Bief is nothing special but just got up in the shadow of the post on his last start. He has more to do at this level but the late nature of that victory might mean he has a little more up his sleeve. Aqualung makes his seasonal and handicap bow off a mark that could be a little on the high side while any market support for April San would be interesting after a lengthy absence. It's a shame we don't have more runners here however it makes the job of selecting Description a little easier.
