Verdict
Ballyhome is bidding for a fourth course victory and has finished second twice over hurdles here since successful over course and distance in August. MUCKAMORE should thrive over fences, however, given he won a point in December last year and was later successful over hurdles at Taunton. Minella Encore is a danger as he has also won between the flags and over timber and No Getaway was an improver over hurdles last season. Seven De Baune may need further but should also have a future and has more scope than Siannes Star. Evander started favourite for a beginners’ chase at Sedgefield last month but only managed fourth so more will be needed.
