Verdict
Both Luttrell Lad and Konigsberg showed potential on their respective debuts but Translink probably sets a decent standard on seconds at Uttoxeter and Hereford and his experience should count for plenty against a bunch of newcomers from powerful NH yards. Doctor Ken is a half-brother to two winners and cost €130,000 as a three-year-old but FINISTERE is also worth a second look as he runs in the same colours as Third Time Lucki, one of last season’s leading bumpers, so gets the nod. Fantomas has plenty of stamina in his pedigree, as do Sir Jim and Well Educated, while Alan King’s filly Moonamacaroona is out of a bumper winner and half-sister to a winning hurdler
