In depth
Verdict
Mick Maestro has been raised 12lb after winning easily at Catterick in December. The runner-up Miss Heritage has subsequently won at Warwick while Gortroe Joe scored over a shorter trip here earlier and is preferred to Blakeney Point. Ajero has undergone a wind operation after landing a double in novice company and makes his handicap debut along with GIPSY DE CHOISEL (NAP). The latter made a winning debut in France before placing at Ascot behind subsequent Grade 1 Tolworth Hurdle winner Metier on his first outing for Nicky Henderson and the Supreme Novice entry is fancied to go close in this.
