In depth

Verdict

Few make any appeal and First Man complicates matters given he had leading claims at Wincanton yesterday and would be penalised in this if successful. In his absence, RINTULLA would have an easier task as he ran well when third at Warwick last time and this extra distance may bring further progress. Catlin posted a better effort in a mares' only chase at Leicester in November while Alright Marlene may improve on her second outing over fences and point-to-point winner Kalinite debuts under Rules on his first start since 2019.
