Verdict
MONTEGO GREY was a 50/1 chance on his second start in a Listed bumper at Ascot but ran a fine race to be beaten under three lengths in fifth. That’s the stand-out form and he gets 7lb from Kelso winner Akarita Lights. The market should tell us all we need to know about the newcomers, of which Emphatic Qualm may be the best.
