In depth

Verdict

Exelerator Express started favourite at Uttoxeter after a couple of good runs at the backend of last year though would have been beaten a long way but for mishaps to rivals and was a very fortunate winner. His stable companion Frau Georgia, a winning hurdler, makes her debut over fences and hasn't run since pulling up at Doncaster in December. KAP AUTEUIL went up 12lb for a very easy victory at Fakenham and carries a 7lb penalty for another facile success at Stratford last week so a quick hat-trick looks on the cards. Casa Tall won twice over hurdles in France but has been well beaten in both starts over fences for Tom George.
