In depth

Verdict

Quest For Life landed a Musselburgh handicap over this trip then completed a double in a Newcastle jumpers' bumper. His latest run was over fences and has to be considered in a tight handicap. ROSIE AND MILLIE has only won once over hurdles but has generally competed at a higher level and was only beaten a length in a Class 2 handicap at Musselburgh last time. She can get back on the winning trail though Doncaster novice winner Gunsight Ridge has performed with credit in subsequent handicaps and looks on a fair mark. Prince Escalus is better than he showed at Exeter while Silent Assistant has been finding 3m too far and is better judged on a narrow defeat over 2m5f at Cheltenham in November.
