Verdict

The market will be the best guide to the chances of Rebel Du Maquis and Mahogany Blaze, who return from lengthy lay-offs, while Quite The Man, Politeo and Kauto Relko have also been absent for a while. Bobowen has been kept busy over the summer, however, and rattled up a four-timer before finding Royale's Charter too strong over 2m1f at Worcester last month. The Disengager wasn't disgraced tried in this grade at Newton Abbot at the start of the month while course winner Rebel Dancer is open to plenty of improvement over fences and Comehomequietly is weighted to reverse last month's Ffos Las running with Idarah. QULINTON is back on a winning mark and can be forgiven his run over a longer trip on rain-softened ground at Ffos Las last time. He goes particularly well around here and can return to winning ways as the normally consistent Buck Mulligan seems to struggle to get home on this track.
