In depth

Verdict

Raise A McGregor gets a tentative nomination over Pillar Of Fire and Jupiter Jo, while Claude Greengrass would have a chance if he decides to concentrate his effort today. Not even the great Tony McCoy has managed to make his mind up for him on several occasions in the past, though, and he remains one for the brave only. Jupiter Jo is getting the hang of chasing and has sound each-way claims at this level, while Pillar Of Fire was unlucky to come up against the revitalised Keltic Lord last time. He should make another bold bid this afternoon. However, Raise A McGregor is also thriving on his racing at present and, as he is likely to be available at more attractive odds, Sue Smith's charge gets the vote on this occasion.
