      In depth

      Verdict

Ejaaby won two minor handicaps here in January and though they were on Turf he scored at Wolverhampton for Roger Varian. His stable companion Moosir won at this meeting a year ago and scored twice again subsequently. He's only 4lb higher than his latest success and looks certain to go well. Alraased is 6lb better off for a narrow defeat by Ejaaby last season and has the benefit of a recent run at Jebel Ali. Those who saw LAVASPIN win here two weeks ago won't want to miss him here despite an 8lb rise. That was only his fifth start and he quickened off a very strong pace to win impressively so should complete a double. Nicholas Bachalard saddled his first winner at Jebel Ali last week and the once-promising Final Reckoning is one to note for the future.
