        Verdict

        Alugat ran well last time and gets the vote here ahead of Howards Prince and Slipperfoot. The selection only lost by a neck at Catterick when beaten by Chairman Bobby last time and although he is not ideally drawn here he looks to hold solid claims of going one better. Howards Prince has the plum draw but he was disappointing last time and this inconsistent 3-year-old is not one to place maximum faith in. Slipperfoot was a fair sixth behind Laphonic at Hamilton last time but more had been expected after an encouraging effort previously at Carlisle and she is one to note in the market today from a good draw. Egyptian Lord is running consistently well and is the other with place claims, but for the winner we will return to Alugat.
