In depth

Verdict

This looks a very trappy affair and we will take a chance with Crosby Vision, Garstang and Secret Liaison are also expected to be in the shake up. The selection showed much improved form last time when chasing home the well backed Wind Star at Ayr. A couple of previous winners were behind that day and so the form looks pretty solid. The slight drop in trip shouldn't be a problem and a big run is expected. Garstang comes here in winning form, having just got up to beat a modest field on thw all-weather at Lingfield. His previous turf form was encouraging as well and he looks to have strong place claims. Secret Liaison, a winner at Ayr in May has struggled over longer trips recently and may be seen to better effect over this seven furlongs. Elegant Times looks the pick of the others, but Crosby Vision appears on the upgrade and this one gets our vote.
