Three Saints Bay won this in 2019 but failed to score last year and has switched yards. He was beaten by Marshal Dan over track and trip back in October while Molls Memory was successful at Newbury in the same month. Redarna won at Ayr in September and is preferred to Gallipoli but it could pay to stick with STONE SOLDIER (NAP). The latter has proven best on the all-weather so far having won three times at Southwell in only four starts since joining Archie Watson’s yard. But he scored by five lengths in a decent handicap on last month’s first outing as a gelding and is worth chancing allowed to race off the same mark back on this surface.
