      Verdict

      Zeshov won off a similar mark at Pontefract last term and finished a close-up fourth over track and trip last month. But COOLAGH FOREST made a winning debut on Turf at the same meeting here when successful over a mile and Richard Fahey’s colt is taken to defy a 4lb rise with lots of scope for further progress. Novice winner Mustadun made a less impressive debut on Turf when well beaten at Ripon, though drops down a grade today, while Irish raider Set In Stone has done all his winning on softer going. Ghayyar and Royal Regent are both back on winning marks though remain out of form.
