Constancio was a decent middles-distance handicapper for Jim Bolger on the Flat, winning twice at Navan earlier this year. He changed hands for 40,000gns in July and should have a future over hurdles. But he’s probably been unlucky to come up against another decent performer on the level in TOR. Iain Jardine’s stayer was an odds-on disappointment on his hurdles bow last year but still has time on his side and looks the one to beat as long as the ground doesn't get any softer. Kensukes Kingdom has won twice between the flags this year but was only fifth on his debut under Rules in a Uttoxeter bumper.
