      Verdict

      Kimberella went up 5lb for landing a Class 2 handicap at Ripon and was sent into Listed company at Ascot where he ran very well on ground softer than he would have liked. CASPIAN PRINCE won the Epsom Dash for the second time in the summer and bounced back to form to defy a 33/1 SP in what looked a strong contest at Beverley. He would be difficult to beat in that kind of form. Strath Burn was in tremendous form last summer ending with a mark of 116 but he hasn't been in the same shape this year and is now 12lb lower, though that doesn't affect his weight here. Duke Of Firenze has been in very good form without winning and wasn't beaten far in the Prix de l'Abbaye nine days ago at Chantilly.
