In depth

Verdict

So Satisfield scored over 2m4f at Ayr in October before finishing last over slightly further back there and he's never raced over this trip. JOVIAL JOEY was well beaten on his chasing bow at Catterick but was racing over a trip much too short. He has more scope than most of these and looks the one to be on. Justatenner makes his chasing debut and could only be considered if the ground turns testing unlike Buckled, who only victory to date came on very fast going over hurdles. Mo Rouge stays extreme distances and likes these sort of conditions but he's been beaten a long way on his two latest starts. Castletown Bridge is a winning point-to-pointer, hurdler and bumper and was having just his fourth start over fences when beating two much better-fancied rivals over a longer trip here last month but an 8lb rise in the ratings looks harsh.
