Verdict
Bright Prospect, a winner at Perth in August, only just failed to concede So Satisfield 16lb at Ayr in October but he's the same amount higher than his last winning mark. AMUSE ME has a tremendous strike-rate of 13-67 and showed his first form over fences for some time here last month. He's well handicapped compared to his hurdles mark and can take this. Royal Macnab is generally consistent but likes a bit of cut in the ground and it was soft going when he won this from exactly the same mark a year ago. Formidableopponent completed a five-timer on good ground over this trip in the autumn before finding three miles too far then running out of his class at Aintree. He could bounce back here while the veteran Quito Du Tresor has been gradually dropping to a mark he should be capable of winning from and has shown a bit more dash in his most recent starts.
