      Verdict

      A modest seller pitched into the midst of an otherwise excellent card. Nothing makes strong appeal but CLAYTON landed a similar contest over timber at Fakenham last month and it's interesting to see him now under the tutelage of Archie Watson. It's unlikely there's any major improvement in the ten-year-old but he's shown his wellbeing with that hurdling success and could well oblige on this first run on the level for three years. Andok has disappointed on latest starts but a return to the best of last season's form would clearly make him the one to beat and he rates an obvious danger. Grand Inquisitor has not cut the mustard over hurdles but the three-time winner on the level is another with every chance if he ran recapture his best in a race full of ifs and buts.
