Verdict

Glen's Diamond was a progressive two-year-old, winning at Carlisle and Newmarket last August. He can't be ignored here, despite top weight. Calypso Magic ended a frustrating sequence of placed efforts with a victory over today's C&D on his reappearance but is pretty much exposed now, like Malthouse. Muhandis can improve on his Ripon second, however, while Kalleidoscope stepped up on initial efforts when landing her maiden at Beverley last summer. But the handicapper looks to have let in RASTABAN lightly here. Willie Haggas' colt showed a willing attitude to land a decent maiden at Ffos Las on only his second start and the third has franked the form since - he gets the vote.
