Verdict

LORD SCOUNDREL, the 2016 Galway Plate winner, reappeared after a very long absence to land a Cottenham Open in easy fashion earlier this month and though opposed by some in-form hunters should have too much class. Virak has a penalty to carry for landing a hunters' chase at Wincanton which he won in a canter. Eco Warrior has won his last four starts between the flags, all at Friars Haugh, but is taking on much stronger opposition here as is Son Of Suzie, who battled it out with Nine Altars in a Ladies' Open on the latter track last month.
