Verdict

Blue Law has won just once in 25 starts and though he's dropped to a very fair mark he appears to be better over sprint trips these days as he showed with a good run at Dundalk on Saturday. Devious Soprano is best on fast ground and ran probably her best race to date over a mile at Wexford on Friday. She shouldn't be too inconvenienced by this shorter trip and can get competitive but BLUE CROSS BOY just gets the nod after a very good third behind One Of Three in a big field at Cork last month when Rublevka Star was well beaten. The lightly-raced Intyre Trail made rapid strides at the backend of last year on polytrack and there is no reason why she shouldn't transfer that progress to turf.
