Western Promise reverted from fences to take advantage of a much lower hurdles rating at Thurles and though now 10lb higher he looks to have a fair chance of completing a double. However, TAMMYS HILL, who landed the Foxhunter at Cheltenham in March and completed a double in a handicap hurdle at Cork before well beaten in the JNwine Champion Chase, can run from a 28lb lower mark than over fences so looks the one to beat. Battling Boru landed a strong Galway handicap in October and didn't handle the very testing ground at Cork on his next start. Bold Conquest hasn't had much experience and is still a maiden as is County Champion over hurdles though he's won between the flags and in a bumper.
