Smokey Joe Joe would have finished much closer to Mr Fiftyone at Thurles but for a very bad mistake and though making his handicap debut with a big weight he should give a good account. Seriatim has produced his best form on ground with plenty of give so could do with more rain while Heavenly Brook is on a fair mark these days though he's mainly disappointed since gaining his only victory in April 2012. ITS THE ICE I LIKE has been heavily supported the last twice but punters have had their fingers scorched. He can run here from a massive 33lb lower than over hurdles so if ever he's going to win a race it should be here. Miss Xian is better over hurdles and was well beaten on her return over fences at Thurles last week.
