Verdict
An open handicap can go to the consistent Black Moma ahead of Malapropism and Talbot Avenue. Richard Hannon's stable are in great form and with Ryan Moore desperate for more winners having missed most of the season so far, Black Moma is fancied to get her head back in front. She has won on good to firm before, so whilst she is effective on any ground, she can win today from what could prove to be a decent draw. Malapropism is ultra consistent and having had over a hundred runs with ten wins, he knows what it takes to win. Fromsong needs to bounce back from a disappointing last run, whilst Harrison's Flyer is arguably better over six furlongs although he will be staying on well at the finish here. Old-timer Talbot Avenue drops in grade and he still retains plenty of ability although his wins-to-runs ratio is poor so for that reason we will pass him over and return to Black Moma as the selection.
