Verdict
Paraguay, Sotik Star and Harald Bluetooth make the shortlist here with Paraguay taken to continue his winning run. Sotik Star improved on recent efforts when chasing home the in form Dear Maurice last time. That was a very good effort, though he is not the most consistent type and the ground may not suit-he flopped on this ground before. Harald Bluetooth has done little wrong, following up a very good placed effort as a juvenile with a win in a maiden this term. He is much respected on his handicap bow, but this son of Danetime is unproven on this ground and may prefer it quicker so is opposed. Paraguay has won four of his last five starts and looked tenacious. He handles this ground and is only two pounds higher than his latest win. That form has taken a knock but Paraguay looks the safest bet here.
