Moll Davis met interference at Newcastle 10 days ago and could go close here with a clear passage. Badenscoth is definitely worth a second look in a race like this as he was in terrific form at this time last year. Restorer is on a decent mark and another who could figure if fully wound-up but LUNAR JET is now 3lb lower than for last year’s victory at Newmarket and was a course and distance winner before that. He made a fair reappearance at Newcastle earlier this month and should be fully primed for this. Just The Man and Lawn Ranger are others to consider in an open-looking handicap.
