Verdict
Overwrite has been beaten three times since scoring at Windsor in June and has gone up in the weights again, despite failing to land the odds at Bath last time. Recent rain should help the returning Tempus while Afaak was back on song when third in the Golden Mile at Goodwood. JAHBATH made a promising return to action at Haydock and should strip fitter here so can take advantage of the 5lb he receives from Orbaan, who was only fourth when attempting to double up at York three weeks ago. Kasbaan may not enjoy today’s going and is now 0-8 on Turf.
